Definition

Selection bias is a statistical bias in which there is a error in choosing participants or groups to take part of a research study.


Application

In "NPR: Dont Stand So Close To Me" a selection bias occured when they only conducted their experiement in virtual people in Second Life. They didn't test their experiment on other groups or in other sistuations.
