What do I research?

Stereotypes and Prejudice I am interested in how the source of people's motivation to respond without prejudice can influence how people respond to one another during interracial intractions. I also am working on a project examining anxiety in interracial interactions by measuring people's levels of cortisol before and after an interracial interaction. I have recently completed work examining whether people can be trained to respond without bias towards others. In another project, I am exploring whether implicit theories can help us to know who is most likely to respond positively to prejudice reduction training. Lastly, I am interested in self-regulation and how stimulants affect people's self-regulatory resources.
